Richard is an established health and social care journalist
and columnist. To date he has published with the RCN's Nursing Standard, Mental Health Practice and Learning Disability
Practice. Pieces have been published in Community Care, Drink and Drugs News, Gloucestershire Echo and the Forest of Dean
& Wye Valley Review. In 2007 he published a book with the charitably funded vanity house Chipmunka, which on realising
they were this and not a publishing house in the traditional sense (as they wrongly market themselves to the mentally ill), had
his book withdrawn from print.
Richard is breaking out of the social care mould with commissions in a national
country lifestyles magazine, and two county country lifestyles magazines. Watch this space...
